What it treats

Procedure time
Profhilo is administered by injection following a specified technique of 5 bio aesthetic injectable points on each side of the face to maximize product diffusion. Prior to the actual injection, a topical and an injectable numbing solution might be applied for additional patient comfort. Depending on the facial areas (or body parts) being treated and the amount of Profhilo required for an optimum outcome, the procedure itself can take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes.
Recovery time & side effects
Profhilo injectable skin hydrator comes with minimal recovery. The most common and temporary side effects are swelling at the injection site (less than 12 hours) and potential minimal bruising at the injection side, lasting, on average, 3 to 4 days. Certain medications and health conditions can worsen the swelling and/or bruising; our aesthetician will discuss any of the pre-existing conditions and provide pre- and post-treatment recommendations during the initial complimentary cosmetic consultation.
Results
Results from Profhilo injectable hydrator/biorevitalizer vary depending on the actual condition of the skin, the level of laxity,and the patient’s age among other factors. Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo injectable biorevitalizer works in the skin over a period of time, gradually releasing hyaluronic acid into the skin. Patients experience dewy and glowing skin, but to reap the full benefits, Profhilo requires 2 initial visits spaced 4 weeks apart and 1 session at 6 months . Maintenance treatments recommended every 3-6 months, depending on the level of skin laxity. The longevity of Profhilo also will very per individual case , the condition of the skin prior to the treatment, and the area being treated, but it has been shown, on average, to last up to 6 months and beyond.

Profhilo injectable skin hydrator/biorevitalizer is based on an injectable hyaluronic acid gel (a sugar molecule naturally occurring in human skin) thermally cross-linked low and high molecular hyaluronic acid with slow release capability, resulting in increased stability and longevity. The stable and slow release of hyaluronic acid (HA) increases levels of 4 types of collagen and elastin, improving the skin’s overall quality and giving it a more youthful appearance. To reap the full benefits of Profhilo injectable biorevitalizer, 2 initial treatment sessions at 4 weeks apart and 1 session at 6 months are required.
