Navid Khamooshi

Dr. Navid Khamooshi is a doctor of medicine at Tri-County Medical Clinic with years of training under his belt. He devotes himself to his work, and his extensive experience as a medical professional has only reaffirmed his desire to help as many patients as he can.

Dr. Khamooshi is a fast and avid learner. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, and thereafter, he went on to receive his doctorate in Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. And though his academic achievements are certainly notable, Dr. Khamooshi’s training does not end in the classroom.

As a research assistant, Dr. Khamooshi grew his real-world expertise when he worked at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital Internal Medicine Department. There, he helped survey internal medicine residents, recording their opinions about primary care medicine. Furthering his research at Michigan Kidney Consultants, he worked in nephrology, a study of the kidney’s diseases.

For three years, he worked for Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan as an Internal Medicine Resident. There, he gained further insight into the fast-paced world of the medical field. He might be a doctor, but Dr. Khamooshi never passes up the opportunity to learn more about his vocation.

Dr. Khamooshi also shared his work with the world when he was published in Endocrine Reviews and The FASEB Journal. As a speaker, he gave presentations over his work across the country, including during an Endocrine Society meeting in Chicago. 

He worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University and Wayne State University. Dr. Khamooshi enjoys sharing the knowledge of his craft with the next generation of doctors.

Dr. Khamooshi is accomplished outside the medical world as well. He is bilingual, speaking Farsi with functionally native proficiency. He is an avid soccer player, and he loves spending time with his adoring family.
