How Do You Use Latisse?
For the optimal effect Latisse is to be applied daily, one drop of serum per eye, at the base of the eyelashes, for the time period of 16 weeks. The improvement occurs gradually over time with some positive changes starting at week 4-6, but for the best and full result patient should use it for 16 weeks.
Recovery time & side effects
Since Latisse is a liquid serum, it is very easy and convenient to apply with no recovery time. The most common side effects include dry eye and redness and irritation at the side of application- these are temporary and resolve within few days.
Results
Patients notice a significant improvement in eyelash prominence starting with fullness/thickness, followed by longer length and darker lashes. The key to achieving best results with Latisse is, once again, consistency in daily application. Patients must remember- once the serum application is discontinued, so will the results.
